Women Entrepreneurs Division actively seeks collaboration with trade bodies, business community, NGOs, financial and educational institutions to create a robust ecosystem that supports women entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. This collective effort serves as a catalyst for the growth and success of women entrepreneurs, fostering an inclusive and dynamic business environment in Pakistan.

Our Associates

Chambers of Commerce and Industry

Collaborating with trade bodies offers crucial networking opportunities, connecting businesses with industry experts to impart the knowledge needed to make informed decisions. Their advocacy efforts can lead to favorable policies and regulations, creating a more conducive business environment. Moreover, trade bodies offer access to specialized knowledge and expertise, enabling businesses to enhance their operations and adapt to industry changes. TDAP collaborates with FPCC&I and other regional trade bodies, especially women chambers, to empower women with demand driven skills and enhance their capabilities to flourish in business world.

Financial institutes

To create awareness among the marginalized community of women entrepreneurs and to enhance access to finance, TDAP collaborates with various financial institutes (First Women Bank, State Bank of Pakistan, National Bank of Pakistan etc) to organize specific training programs. These programs are organized either separately or as a sideline activity during TDAP’s flagship events. Moreover, TDAP encourages financial institutes to establish a help desk at TDAP’s events to maximize the outreach of incentives offered to women led business in terms of interest rates, loans, export finances etc.

USAID

TDAP has joined hands with USAID for economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs through various initiatives to gain access to tailored training programs, financial resources, and mentorship initiatives, equipping W.E.s with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the business landscape. Currently both partners are working, under USAID’s IPA, on Export Readiness training program which will enable women entrepreneurs to develop their technical and operational capacities to enable them to expand their products and services in US market.

ITC

TDAP has partnered with ITC to tap its expertise in international trade and market access, enabling women-led businesses to explore global markets, expanding their reach and impact. In addition to various training modules offered by TDAP in collaboration with ITC on market intelligence tools, an ITC pavilion was reserved in 11th edition of WEXNET 2023 for women entrepreneurs from far flung areas of Sindh and Baluchistan.

Women Business Network

The Women Business Network (WBN) is an established international network of business experts and corporate leaders. TDAP is in process of defining areas of collaboration with WBN to provide women entrepreneurs networking opportunities and to encourage growth of women in business world.

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA)

TDAP, together with SMEDA, aims to launch focused initiatives to provide essential support in business development, helping women entrepreneurs navigate challenges and seize opportunities. In all flagship event, TDAP joins hands with SMEDA to market the event to targeted women entrepreneurs, enhancing the outreach of such events. With recent establishment of joint working group, TDAP and SMEDA have pledged to work for the common goal of mainstreaming women entrepreneurs in national economy by empowering small and medium women led businesses.

Intellectual Property Organization (IPO), Pakistan

Through cooperation with IPO Pakistan, women-led businesses gain access to vital resources related to intellectual property rights, fostering innovation and safeguarding the creative handicrafts of women entrepreneurs. TDAP regularly organizes awareness sessions on IP rights safeguard as sideline activities during flagship events, in addition to establishment of IPO help desk.

Educational institutes

NGOs

Partnering with NGOs provides a platform for targeted training programs, mentorship, and networking opportunities, tailored to the unique needs of women in business. This support structure of Government body with NGOs, empowers women entrepreneurs with the skills and resources necessary to navigate the competitive landscape. TDAP also encourages NGOs to bring their skilled women artisans to participate in TDAP’s exhibitions on subsidized rates to showcase their products on national and international platforms.
